Calendar conflict check
Once a week it goes through next week's calendar for clashes, events with no time to get between them and days packed too tight, with suggestions for each.
Who it's for: People with busy calendars who keep ending up with two meetings at once, or who finish one meeting with no way to get to the next place in time.
What it does:
- It goes through next week's calendar and picks out anything that overlaps, anything with no time to get from one place to the next, and days that are packed too tight.
- For each conflict it gives you one or two ways to fix it, like "You have two things Wednesday afternoon; the second one could move to Thursday morning."
- It only suggests. Whether to change anything, and what to tell people, is your call.
Why this one: In Muse's App Store description, the first item in the Personal Productivity section is that it "manages scheduling conflicts." Start with checking only, no changes, and take it from there once you're comfortable.
Copy for your Muse
Every Sunday at 8 p.m., check my calendar for next week: which events overlap, which leave no time to get from one to the next, and which days are packed too tight. Give me one or two suggestions for each conflict. What to do: only read my calendar, and write the conflicts and suggestions for me to see. What not to do: do not change, cancel or create any event for me, and do not contact anyone for me. When to stop: stop when I say “stop the calendar check”.

Goal breakdown
Give it a goal with a deadline and it breaks it into weekly steps; every Monday it tells you what to do this week, and every Friday it asks how it went.

Follow-up list
Before the end of each workday, it pulls three things out of your email: what you promised, what others promised you, and what got no reply, with drafts for anything that needs a nudge.
