Daily briefing
Your schedule, the emails that really matter with draft replies, your to-dos and the weather, on one page.
Who it's for: People who get dozens of emails a day and worry about missing the important ones.
What it does:
- Every morning it puts your schedule, the unread emails that actually matter (no ads or notifications), your unfinished to-dos and the weather into one briefing.
- If an email needs an answer, it writes a draft reply right in the briefing for you to look over.
- It only reads. It won't send, delete or archive anything, and it stops when you tell it to.
Why this one: Muse's App Store description says it "manages email" and helps you "stay on top of your calendar, email, and daily tasks."
Keep in mind: The first time, tell it what counts as important (who it's from, which keywords). Whether a draft gets sent, and how it gets edited, is up to you. The App Store description also warns that Muse can get things wrong, so check on it now and then.
Copy for your Muse
Every morning at 9 (in my time zone), give me a morning briefing: today's schedule, the unread emails in my inbox that really matter (skip ads and notifications), my unfinished to-dos and the local weather. For emails that need a reply, put a draft reply in the briefing for me to see. What to do: only read my calendar, inbox and to-dos, and write the briefing and draft replies for me to see. What not to do: do not send any email or message for me; do not delete, archive or change anything. When to stop: stop when I say “stop the morning briefing”; if I haven't looked at the briefing for 7 days in a row, ask me first whether to keep going.

Give it a goal with a deadline and it breaks it into weekly steps; every Monday it tells you what to do this week, and every Friday it asks how it went.

Follow-up list
Before the end of each workday, it pulls three things out of your email: what you promised, what others promised you, and what got no reply, with drafts for anything that needs a nudge.
