Birthday reminders

A heads-up a week before the birthdays of people close to you, with a few gift ideas; on the day, a short message written for you to send yourself.

Who it's for: People who only remember a birthday after it's passed, or end up scrambling for a gift on the day.

What it does:

  • It finds birthdays and anniversaries in your calendar. For any that aren't there, you give it the name and the date.
  • 7 days ahead it reminds you, with 3 gift ideas that fit your budget and what the person likes.
  • On the morning of the day it reminds you again and writes a short message in your voice.
  • It won't get the gift or send the message for you. Whether to send it, and how to change it, is up to you.

Why this one: In Muse's App Store description, the Personal Productivity section says it sets reminders and follows up with people so birthdays, plans and deadlines don't slip. This one only has it remind you and write drafts.

Keep in mind: The first time, tell it who to remind you about and roughly what you'd spend on each person.

Help me remember the birthdays and anniversaries of people close to me: find them in my calendar, and I'll tell you any that aren't there. Remind me 7 days before each birthday with 3 gift ideas that fit my budget and what the person likes (ask me first if I haven't said); on the morning of the day, remind me again and write a short message in my voice for me to see.
What to do: only read my calendar and the list I give you, and write the reminders, gift ideas and draft messages for me to see.
What not to do: do not get anything for me or spend any money, do not send a message to anyone for me, and do not change my calendar.
When to stop: stop when I say “stop the birthday reminders”.
