Restaurant shortlist

Picks three restaurants that fit your group, taste, budget and area, and says whether there's a table at the time you want; booking is up to you.

Who it's for: People who want to get a group together for a meal without spending the evening scrolling through reviews.

What it does:

  • Based on how many people, the day and time, what you feel like eating, your budget per person and roughly where, it picks 3 restaurants.
  • For each, it notes roughly what it costs per person, how far it is from the place you named, the pros and cons reviews mention most, and whether there's a table at the time you want.
  • It won't book a table or sign in to your accounts. Once you've picked, you book it yourself.

Why this one: Muse's App Store description says it can book dinners and reservations for you. This one only has it pick and look things up; whether to book is up to you.

Keep in mind: If someone has foods they can't eat, you're bringing kids, or you need step-free access, tell it up front.

Copy for your Muse

Help me pick a restaurant: how many people, which day and time, what kind of food, budget per person and roughly which area; ask me first about anything I haven't made clear. Give me 3 options, each with the rough cost per person, how far it is from the place I named, the pros and cons reviews mention most, and whether there's a table at the time I want.
What to do: only look up public restaurant information, reviews and open tables, and lay them out as options for me.
What not to do: do not book a table for me, do not sign in to any of my accounts, and do not fill in or submit any form.
When to stop: stop once you've given me these 3; I'll ask if I want a new set.
