Trip price check
Compares flights and hotels on your terms and lays out a few options side by side; once you pick, it keeps an eye on the prices.
Who it's for: People who travel a few times a year and end up with a dozen or more tabs open every time they book a flight or a hotel.
What it does:
- It compares flights and hotels against what you give it (destination, dates, number of people, budget, flight times and room type) and comes back with 3 options, each with the total price including taxes and the cancellation policy. If something isn't clear, it asks you first.
- Once you pick, it watches the prices on those options and tells you if one drops by more than $50.
- It won't book anything, sign in to your accounts or fill out forms. It stops when you say you don't need it to watch anymore, or once your departure date has passed.
Why this one: Muse's App Store description says it "compares prices, tracks price drops," and that it can help you plan a whole trip. This one only has it compare and watch prices.
Keep in mind: Leave the last step, booking and paying, to yourself.
