Grok Voice 3.0 is out, and Starlink's customer support takes calls with it

On October 14, SpaceXAI released Grok Voice 3.0, a speech-to-speech model (voice AI that listens and talks directly), and put it on its Voice Agent API the same day at $0.08 per minute, the same as 2.0; agents using grok-voice-latest switch to it automatically. The company says Starlink's customer support center uses it for about 20,000 calls a day, about 70% of them never handed to a person, and it starts replying in under a second. It also cites Artificial Analysis data, saying the model ranks first on the speech-to-speech index with 86.9 points (2.0 scored 81.3).
